For our song (Settle Down) we wanted to keep the general deeper meaning that the 1975 usually convey and we would prefer to tell a narrative story to help convey this meaning instead of the typical concept or performance videos like other Indie Pop songs. In this video we’ll be using a colour filters to remove some colour (e.g Brannan) to show flashbacks as this is a common feature within videos by The 1975 and we’ll also be following the typical conventions of the Indie Pop Genre by following the theme of love and using simple props and costumes.
